Dammit, PayByTouch has just disappeared from Jewel. I didn’t realize that they (Solidus Networks, the group behind PayByTouch) actually process the payments, and not Jewel. If you RTFA, the “lady on the street” makes a good point…what’s going to happen to the biometric and payment information provided them. And here’s a lawsuit waiting to happen, when I signed up for the service, I was lead to assume I was sharing my personal information with just Jewel, and not a third party; that fact should have been made just a wee bit more disclosed.
