I’ve been watching the

1. Why’s Joe Biden on the convention floor? I thought the nominees (both top and bottom) don’t show up until the day they’re slated to accept their nomination and give their speech?
2. The Ted video really makes me respect Senator Kennedy much more than I ever had. And damn does that man love to sail.
3. If anyone thinks Michelle Obama is some wacky American-hating radical after that intro video, then they just don’t get it, and I feel sorry for the smallness of their soul.
4. Craig Robinson, Michelle’s brother, gave an amazing introduction of his little sister. It’s clear from him (and her speech as well) that their parents did an incredible job in raising them.
5. OK, so they are glossing over the fact that she made $300K at the UC Hospital job…I’m sure that’s just an oversight
6. Damn, Michelle’s got it working…although that sunburst thingy is a little weird.
   
7. Michelle Obama comes across so naturally. Her speech was more a conversation with us than a speech at us. She’s certainly the equal of her husband in giving a moving address. I simply cannot see Cindy McCain being anywhere as effective as an advocate, or even as moving as Michelle.
8. Hillary Clinton has got to be hating that she has to be going after Michelle…and in the crowd shots, it’s pretty clear that Michelle has won over the hold-outs…the “Hillary!” button wearing woman with tears down her face FTW.
9. “Isn’t She Lovely?!?!?!?!!?” as her outro music? WTF approved that?
