I saw a list at the House of Blues this weekend (I was there seeing BTE, who were AWESOME!) entitled “10 commandments for Successful Daily Living” attributed to a B. F. Perkins (who I can’t find on the intertubes).  I’ve rewritten a bit and here is my list:

1. I shall be true, for many trust me
2. I shall be pure for those that care for me
3. I shall be strong; for in strength is wisdom
4. I shall be brave to face life’s many challenges
5. I shall humble myself for I have many weaknesses
6. I shall forgive so that I may be forgiven
7. I shall be a friend to the friendless
8. I shall give for it is in giving I will receive
9. I shall pray for courage and strength
10. I will live and laugh and love for out of life I shall only what I put in it
