Sounds like someone decided to off themselves today at G.A.T. Guns in Dundee Township.
What’s really freaky is that G.A.T. is the range I shoot at all the time. Honestly don’t know what I would have done had I been in the range at the time, but I do know that pointing a weapon around at people, including yourself, is one of the stupidest things you can do at a range. Had he not shot himself, I honestly believe it more than likely someone would have taken a clean shot at him as he had clearly become a dangerous threat.
And for all of you who think the adage “an armed society is a polite society,” it’s obvious that you haven’t been to a range recently. Everyone is extremely polite, respectful, and aware of boundraies. When you’re in proximity to a person handling a firearm it is truly in your best interest to be on your best behavior.
